The SA sadly announce that our President and Life Member Jim Briscoe passed away on 27th August 2014.. He was in the care of the Strathmore Wing of the Lister Hospital. As many of you will know, Jim hadn’t been in the best of health for some time, so it wasn’t wholly unexpected.
He was involved with football at Broadhall Way for almost 46 years and, along with Vic Folbigg, organised the “band of enthusiasts” which were the original founding fathers of the Stevenage Football Club.
The SA Committee will miss Jim, and our wishes go to our Chairman Lloyd and the rest of the Briscoe family. RIP Jim
